Procedure
Facial implants are solid, pre-formed, three-dimensional accessories used to enhance the size and appearance of various facial areas, including the chin, jaw, nose, cheekbones, and paranasal regions.

Duration
Approximately 1.5 hours.
Type of Anesthesia
General anesthesia is most used. Intravenous sedation combined with local anesthesia is also an option.
Need for Hospitalization
Hospitalization is not required. Outpatient procedure.
Possible Side Effects
- Temporary discomfort in the area.
- Swelling.
- Moderate bruising.
Potential Risks
In some cases, it may be necessary to remove and/or replace the implant to address specific issues such as:
- Implant rupture.
- Infection.
- Improper implant placement.

Recovery Time
The patient can return to work and normal activities within a few days.
Bruising and swelling typically subside after several weeks.
